Terms for Resilience Section
Resilience - Riparian resilience is the ability for the system to recover from disturbances and will promote the long-term sustainability of our watersheds.
Note: Environmental studies scholar David W. Orr in the inaugural issue of Resilience: A Journal of the Environmental Humanities provides this basic definition "the capacity to maintain core functions and values in the face of disturbance".
